Thoughts from Oblivion
I thought I'd use this site for things too long for Twitter, so here we go:
One of the games I'm currently playing is Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. This is not my first time playing the game and one of the things that I was quickly reminded of is that this game has terrible hit-detection. I'm quite used to bad hit-detection from far too many hours spent playing TF2. The obvious difference being that I play TF2 with people on a different continent. People interacting in real time when 4000 miles apart is always likely to cause problems. There's not such a good reason why fighting against AI controlled bandits in a single player game should have an even worse case of this problem.
Still, at least I never get headshot through a wall in Oblivion.
